HOW DO I PLAY?

All you need is a Pigeon’s Path gamebook and a pencil!

EXPLORE and FIND new locations

Every gamebook begins in a different neighborhood and has its own unique history-based story.

For example, the story for our upcoming gamebook in NYC’s Grand Central Terminal is set in 1944 and explores spies and codebreaking during World War II.

SOLVE puzzles to REVEAL the story

Follow directions to find architectural features, which you’ll use to solve puzzles. Every puzzle answer leads to discovers that unravel the story. At the end of the game, use what you discover to decide which ending to choose (most games have 2 )!

UNCOVER the hidden history around you

Every gamebook includes hidden history pages that reveal facts about the places around you and time period you’re in. For example, “A Haunting in Greenwich Village,” includes Haunted Alerts, which provide a historical ghost tour alongside the route of the game.
